- Kylie's Back to Spin Your Head
After an eleven year absence from the top spot of the world's most influential chart, the UK pop chart, Kylie proved that she's still got it by scoring her fifth number one single, Spinning Around. Although, a bit cheesy, co-written, amongst others by Paula Abdul, the song brought the poplet back in touch with her disco roots and showed that Kylie is best off where she started. One of 2000's catchiest pop tunes, and inevitabely best pop female efforts (compared to the overall poor competition), the single is taken from Kylie's latest album, entitled Light Years. - EXCEPTIONAL SINGLE!!!
This song will keep you dancing all night long, such a great pleasure this song was!!!, sadly it wasn't promoted in America. I thought it should have been included in the FEVER edition of America....but not...this is one of the finnest song ever perform by Miss Minogue. The message in the lyrics are awesome... all about getting in your feet an start a new... PS. While IP remains my fave Kylie release, I must admit that Spinning...is very catchy but it did take some time getting used to. At first I thought it sounded a lot like her early stuff which turned me off, but after a few 'spins' I was completely taken by its hypnotic beat and infectious groove. Why is Kylie not a star in the States is beyond me? Grab this and spin it around again and again. - Kylie Minogue is back in great shape
For those who almost forgot about Kylie Minogue, and for those who never heard about her, here is a good reason to let her become a part of your music colection, for Kylie is back in good shape and style and with rythm to move your feet and rock your heart - KYLIE IS BACK AND FIERCE AS EVER!
Okay, finally, we lovers of vintage pop Kylie ("I Should Be So Lucky", "Hand on Your Heart") get their just desserts with this classic pop gem penned by early 90's dance diva Paula Abdul... Once you hear its infectious chorus, I DARE you not to start singing it! Here's hoping to a US release soon! |
