- this song is awesome...

"Don't Bother" is the first single, off of Shakira's new album, "Oral Fixation Volume 2." It's safe to say that this track is scorchingly hot....for starters, it combines a hard rock sound (guitars, percussion, etc.), with Shakira's bleating and composed wailing vocals, layered over the instrumental. This is basically best-described as a "hot break-up" tune. Though, Shakira's lyrics imply that a relationship is coming to an end, over the indescretions of her boyfriend, there is an "I Will Survive" feeling, throughout the tune. She makes the smoothe transition from her Spanish power rock, to English crossover success, once again, without any bumps along the way............

- Shakira's done good!

I'm not a big fan, well actually I'm not a fan, but I really enjoy listening to this song. Shakira doesn't make it easy to understand her when she sings, I had to look up for the lyrics on the net so I could understand what she's singing about but once you've read the lyrics you can sing along cause they're easy to remember. I still can't believe that someone actually managed to put the word Taichi in the song, didn't see that one coming!!) Anyways... very nice!!
