Disco de The Pussycat Dolls: “Doll Domination”
Descripción (en inglés) :
Pussycat Dolls: Nicole Scherzinger, Melody Thornton (vocals, background vocals); Jessica Sutta, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt (background vocals).
Personnel: Polow Da Don (vocals); Patrick Hayes, Dan Warner, Donnie Lyle (guitars); Robert Taylor (acoustic guitar); Lissy Rosemond (banjo); Melvin Jones (trumpet); Eric Florence (tuba); Raymond Oglesby (keyboards, drum programming); Kennard Garrett, Jason Perry (keyboards); Fernando Garibay, Eric Scholotzer, Jeff Meeks, Andreas Romdhane, Ian Mereness (programming); Candice Nelson (background vocals).
Audio Mixers: Chris Godbey; Jaycen Joshua; Dave Pensado; Andrew Wuepper; Kevin Davis ; Spike Stent; Rodney Jenkins; Peter Mokran; Tony Maserati.
Arrangers: Rob Fair; R. Kelly; Nicole Scherzinger.
Three years after the Pussycat Dolls unveiled their hit debut album, PCD, the former burlesque troupe returned with another round of sassy pop called DOLL DOMINATION. Although fans had been anticipating the much-hyped (and repeatedly delayed) solo outing by lead singer Nicole Scherzinger, DOMINATION fills in nicely, with the vocalist leading her statuesque sorority on a set of sensual, dance-oriented tracks. In addition to the techno-tinged single "When I Grow Up," which gives little girls everywhere the hope that they too can be a Pussycat Doll someday, the record includes the percussive "Whatcha Think About That," a mid-tempo tune that features Missy Elliott.

- Meant for it's audience

To those who are reading these comments, note that this type of music isn't for everyone. If you are curious why their music sounds this way I suggest you first take some time to do a little research. This album is very catchy and fun, meant to be fresh and young. I believe someone further down the comment list will tell you that in the song, "When I Grow Up" the word "boobies" is brought up in the song. This is false information, she says "groupies". Other than that I found the album interesting, some songs seemed repetitive, but there were variences in style as well like the song "In Person" Coming from this source, and album with this many tracks is a deal at $2.99. I would recommend it if your a fan, and if you want some light hearted poppy cool music.

- Awesome CD by PCD!!!!

I really love this CD. The dance tracks are on fire and the slower songs bring it. It's all amazing. They surprised me with this CD. The first PCD CD was ok. It has a couple of awesome songs but not all together amazing, but they have definitely grown with this CD.

Everyone hates on them because they all think they are a bunch of sluts who think they can sing. But I think they are really good. You can hate on them, but listen to the songs. They are really good!

My Favorites :

When I Grow Up, Bottle Pop, Whatcha Think About That, I Hate This Part, Takin' Over the World, Out of this Club, and Halo.

Bottom Line : Look past the outfits and the slut image everyone places on them, and focus on the songs, which are bangin! :D

- RELAX AND ENJOY. THIS IS FUN, NOT CURING WOLRD HUNGER

WITH ALL THE BAD NEWS THESE DAYS WHY NOT JUST KICK BACK AND LISTEN TO A FUN ALBUM? WHO IS ANYONE TO CALL THE DOLLS"" SLUTS? ISN'T THAT JUST A BIT SEXIST? CAN'T A WOMAN WEAR SOMETHING REVEALING WITHOUT BEING LABELED A SLUT? THE PURPOSE OF THEIR MUSIC IS ENTERTAINMENT. THEY ARE NOT HERE TO CURE WORLD HUNGER. IF YOU LIKE THE ALBUM, BUY IT. IF NOT THEN DON'T BUY IT. NO ONE HAS A GUN TO YOUR HEAD FORCING YOU TO LISTEN/BUY/WATCH THE "DOLLS". AT PRESENT THERE IS A MUCH SCARIER WOMAN OUT THERE THAT MAY INFLUENCE OUR LIVES MORE THAN THE "DOLLS" EVER WILL! PCD'S ROCK!

- Fun, funky, upbeat

Fun CD! Good workout beats or singing-in-the-car tracks. Catchy songs might get stuck in your head, but in a good way. There are a few so-so tunes, but that is par for the course. This one stays in my CD changer.
