Liberty X had been originally dubbed the "Flopstars" by the UK tabloids, due to the fact that they lost out to Hear'say on the television show "Popstars". Well, look who's laughing now. Granted, I was not a fan of Liberty X when they first arrived on the scene (originally named Liberty, they picked up the X only recently), but if they wanna keep releasing singles like this one, I'll become a huge fan really quick. You wanna know why?...
1) Just A Little (Bump & Flex Club Mix) - 5:31 - This mix is brought to us by Bump & Flex who have been huge on the UK garage scene for quite some time now. Garage music started to crossover onto the US market via Craig David, but seems to have hit a standstill since. Which is a shame because there is quite alot of good stuff out there waiting to be discovered. This track is one of them. Catchy lyrics sung by a group of people with better than average vocal abilities. Could find a home on R&B stations if given the chance.
2) Wanting Me Tonight (Wookie Full Vocal Mix) - 4:27 - Wookie is a name I have seen only one other time (on a remix for "We Come 1" by Faithless), but I wouldn't mind seeing the name again. We have another garage inspired mix here. And while this track is not nearly as catchy as "Just A Little", it still does have its merits. Worth checking out.
3) Just A Little (Almighty Mix) - 6:50 - Ahhh, the Almighty Crew treat us to a slice of ear candy once again. Almighty have given us so many HOT mixes this past while (LeAnn Rimes, S Club 7, Samantha Mumba, Kylie Minogue, Usher, Steps, Anastacia, Cher, the list goes on and on) that it's so hard to pick a favorite, but this one is definately near the top of the list! A thumping beat to get you onto that dancefloor, and the catchy and easy to learn lyrics to have you singing along while you're dancing!
Popstars, Schmopstars. I don't really care what you wanna call them, this is good stuff.
liberty x is a band made up five talented singers who lost out to the pop act hearsay on the british version of popstars. Now their back with a #1 hit single. The song has a very pop/rnb sound to it. This song makes you want to get up and dance to it. I recomend this cd for pop fans all over.
